Despite his spell in charge of England, Graham Taylor is not universally disliked. Holding his tactical approach to account is not revisionism, as it was a criticism levelled during his England leadership between 1990 and 1993, but he arrived in the job with his head held high after enormous success with Watford and a job well done at Aston Villa. While I can’t speak for Watford supporters, there’s certainly a great deal of affection for Taylor at Villa Park.
