Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere suffers injury blow

It’s just not England if there isn’t a teeth-grindingly overblown injury saga in the months before a major international tournament and, as Shane Meadows reminded us all, this is England. But after similar dramas involving David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and – erm – Gareth Barry, I move that we just accept the reality of the situation this time around.
